Dr Lynn has worked with thousands of individuals to help them make wise choices, based on the whole picture and not just past experience. The more you can consider factors such as Values, Personality, Interests, and Skills the more confident you’ll be in moving forward in the right direction. Career Zen has created Panda Poker, a dynamic card game to explore different facets of strategic decision making: self-reflection, multiple perspectives, chance and happenstance, and deliberate action.
This card game contains 4 suits:
VALUES- What’s most important to you? What do you consider meaningful work? What impact do you want to make? Consider causes that you want to support or people that you truly admire. What’s the common thread?
PERSONALITY- What comes most naturally to you? How would your best friends describe you? Your work should be directly correlated with who you are as a person so that you’re celebrated and rewarded for being you!
INTERESTS- What are you curious about? What do you enjoy learning about? Is it one subject that you want to be an expert in, or does everything sound fascinating and there’s not enough time to learn it all?
SKILLS- Not just the talents and gifts you naturally possess, but also what do you feel excited to do? Your motivated skills can be the ones that mean the most to you, and also new skills simply because you WANT to learn it.

Who is Panda Poker for?
Dr Lynn can facilitate this exploratory card game with 1-50 participants. The game is best played in-person.
ADULTS- With over 500,000 career options available, figuring out the right fit can be challenging. Just searching on Indeed and other sites can be pretty disheartening. The good news is that those jobs probably aren’t meant for you. Learn what your true options are because knowledge is power. The more you know what’s out there, the sooner you can pursue your dreams.
STUDENTS- Schools don’t really teach us career options beyond doctor, teacher, lawyer, engineer, so no wonder it’s stressful when deciding on a college major. Dr Lynn has worked with thousands of students from coast to coast, high schools and universities, teaching them how to make the best decisions, stay authentic and true to your core purpose, and avoid costly mistakes.
ORGANIZATIONS- Businesses and non-profits need to evolve as resources, demand, and needs change over time. To stay the most current, focused, productive, and engaged, you need to re-examine your mission and vision periodically. Workplaces that are open to ideas, feedback, and refinement often have the happiest staff and highest productivity.
THIS IS EDUTAINMENT
Panda Poker is educational entertainment. This career card game was designed through many years of feedback and evaluations from multiple players, instructors, and workplaces. You are re-wiring your brain to think more holistically about who you are and what your mission is. It’s easy to fall back into old patterns or make decisions out of fear. Figuring out the next best step for you is an important discussion and decision to make, so be mindful of your approach. You don’t have to necessarily follow social convention, nor do you have to follow someone else’s north star. Stay authentic to who you are at your core and you’ll see countless possibilities unfold before you!
